Just had our first meal in Edinburgh and wow – Pera completely stole our hearts. We got takeout from this adorable little Turkish spot, and it was honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. So full of flavour, fresh, and made with real love. The sweetest part? The owner surprised us with some baklava on the house – such a kind gesture and it was absolutely delicious. It made us feel so welcomed. Even though we just popped in to pick up our food, the place itself is so beautifully done – warm, cozy, and full of character. We’re here for three days, and this meal set the perfect tone for the trip. Can’t wait to go back again before we leave!
This place is fantastic. We came as a large group for my mum’s 60th and they were very accommodating. The food is incredible. I had the vegan feast and it was fab and the meat eaters loved what they had. Service was great. This place is also BYOB with corkage which definitely saved us money compared to an average meal out as a family.
Delicious, and affordable! BYOB!!! Family-run local business. Nice and cosy. Been twice now when visiting the city. Staff are friendly and welcoming but most important, food is 10/10! Baklava went down too quick so forgot to photograph. Get the meze platter!
This little place can easily be missed, but it can't be forgotten once you have been there. The food is delicious, the owner is super nice and fun, and the ambience is pleasant and relaxing. Found this on google looking for a Turkish/Mediterranean BYOB in city centre. Food and service was 10/10. Corkage was £4.50 for wine and £2 for beer. Would visit again. We had the mixed grill main course and was so tasty. Thank you for a great birthday meal.
We’ve coming here for nearly 10 years and every time we go the food is delicious. We’ve been as a table of 2, 4 and large group and the quality never dips. Whether you order hot/cold mezze, the seabass (my favourite), lamb or banquet meals - you won’t be disappointed. An absolute gem, thank you again!
Food was tremendous if your looking for authentic Turkish. Chef made me complimentary Turkish coffee and baklava straight out the oven. Highly recommend
